It is a matter close to our hearts to bring young people closer to exciting and challenging IT task areas. With our commitment, we want to convince pupils and students of the excellent prospects and job opportunities in our industry and get them excited about IT in the long term. That is why we offer pupil internships twice a year and take part in the Girls’ Day. We have also found strong partners in the region.
Initiative Junge Forscherinnen und Forscher e.V.
Initiative Junge Forscherinnen und Forscher e.V. (Young Researchers Initiative) (IJF) is committed to the sustainable promotion of children and young people in MINT education. During school visits and further training for teachers as well as other events, they have so far inspired more than 90,000 pupils in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg with their offers. FIS has been a business partner of IFJ since 2022, making a financial commitment and providing exciting insights into practice during school visits.
Wissenswerkstatt Schweinfurt (Knowledge Workshop Schweinfurt) wants to awaken interest in technology and show young people career prospects and opportunities. Its free offers are aimed at all children and young people in the Schweinfurt region. As a central element, the phenomena of science and technology are to be experienced in a very tangible way; the focus is on a playful approach to technology. FIS has been supporting the Wissenswerkstatt financially and with coding events (Meet and Code) since 2022.
FHWS (University of Applied Sciences)

In September 2020, the FIS-SAP-Laboratory was founded at the chair of Prof. Dr. Alexander Dobhan of the Faculty of Business and Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) with the aim to illustrate the IT-supported business processes of a company in a laboratory environment for the students and to investigate new developments in the ERP area. Within the framework of the cooperation, FIS is involved by providing financial support and professional know-how, among other things in the supervision of project seminars.
Universität Würzburg (University of Würzburg)
Chair of Business Studies and Information Systems
The cooperation between the Chair of Business Administration and Information Systems of Prof. Dr. Axel Winkelmann and FIS has already existed since 2018. In addition to annual SAP courses for students, FIS is also a permanent partner for conducting the Business Software 1 seminar.
Berufliches Schulzentrum für Wirtschaft und Datenverarbeitung is located in Würzburg and brings together various technical schools in the commercial and IT sectors. We are a member of the Förderkreis (promotion circle) and offer internships to interested pupils.
