At FIS, we believe that work should adapt to your life – not the other way around. For this reason, we offer our employees various measures to improve their work-life balance.
- Mobile working
Thanks to the option of mobile working up to three days a week, you are flexible in your choice of work location. This is the ideal way to combine family and career. - Individual working time models
A 40-hour week is not a requirement for us. Your working hours can be tailored to your personal needs. - Flexible working hours
With us, you can organize your working hours flexibly and work off overtime just as freely. This is based on independent, comprehensive recording of working and travel times. - Extended parental leave
After the birth of your child, you can decide for yourself how long you want to take parental leave. - Support when returning to work
After parental leave, we will support you when you return to work with training if necessary and give you enough time to get used to your new job. - Childcare on the Day of Prayer and Repentance
Classes for pupils are canceled on the Day of Prayer and Repentance. To ensure that your child is still well looked after, we offer in-house childcare. - Subsidized childcare during the summer holidays
During the summer vacations, we will help you and your family with childcare. To this end, we work together with the summer children of the Gesellschaft zur Förderung beruflicher und sozialer Integration (gfi) gGmbH in Schweinfurt and cover most of the costs for you. - Subsidy for child sick days
If your child is ill and you use your statutory health insurance’s child sick days for care, FIS will pay the difference between the child sickness benefit and your lost gross pay. For the care of privately insured children, FIS pays an allowance of a comparable amount. - Care pilot
Our company care pilot is on hand to answer any questions you may have about caring for family members.
Compatibility progress index – Success factor family We are part of it!
In order to promote a family-friendly corporate culture, FIS takes part in the Progress Index for Compatibility data collection. FIS performs above average in areas such as “Proportion of employees with flexible working time arrangements that can be shaped”, “Proportion of men with voluntary part-time work” and “Average length of parental leave for mothers”. We also promote other measures in our company that encourage a family-friendly culture.
