On August 08, 2019, Caroline Trips, Vice President of IHK Würzburg-Schweinfurt (Chamber of Commerce and Industry), and Peter Seifert, deputy District Administrator, congratulated the management board of FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH (FIS) on the “Bayerns Best 50” award handed over by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economy, Regional Development and Energy. With this award, FIS obtained the recognition for its outstanding growth and the above-average increase of sales and the number of employees during the last five years.
“This award is an endorsement of our company strategy. As a sustainability-oriented company, we are a competent partner whose wealth of ideas always ensures tailor-made and sustainable IT solutions to the customers. The expertise and passion of our employees plays a crucial role here,” says FIS CEO Ralf Bernhardt expressing his delight about this honor. Peter Seifert also congratulated FIS for this success on behalf of District Administrator Florian Töpper and emphasized that FIS and the Grafenrheinfeld industrial park are regional gems. This year, the “Bayerns Best 50” competition was called on for the eighteenth time with the aim of publicly recognizing examples of positive entrepreneurship. “It is a great honor for us that we have received this renowned award a second time since 2009. This is a fantastic endorsement for the entire staff and the work performed during the past few years,” says member of the FIS management board Christian Lang, who sees this award ceremony as a great motivation for the years to come.
