As in the previous years, FIS remains true to the “Donations instead of gifts” philosophy to support unprivileged and vulnerable children. This year, FIS has decided to support UNICEF with a donation of 15,000 EUR.
With its donation, FIS supports UNICEF’s work in Ukraine. Warm clothing, mobile heaters and generators for hospitals are particularly needed there before the onset of winter. UNICEF’s mobile health teams provide the local families with vital medicines, hygiene articles and first aid kits.
In addition to necessary immediate measures, UNICEF is also committed to issues such as education, psychological care and the creation of contact points for children and families in border areas.
“With regard to our Christmas donation, the support of disadvantaged children has always been of specific concern to us and this year, the fate of Ukrainian children has particularly shocked us. Therefore, we are happy to be able to support UNICEF this year again in their engagement for the welfare of children and families in Ukraine,” Ralf Bernhardt, managing director at FIS, reports.
