Under the moderation of Dirk Denzer, managing director Ralf Bernhardt welcomed the guests and gave the floor to district administrator Florian Töpper, Carolin Trips, vice president of IHK Würzburg and CEO of Trips GmbH, and to Christian Keller, mayor of the municipality of Grafenrheinfeld, who also welcomed all guests.
Florian Töpper looked back on the company’s history, praised the development of FIS to the biggest IT employer in Main-Franconia and congratulated FIS on currently 800 employees within the FIS Group. Moreover, he thanked FIS for its social, ecological and responsible commitment in the rural district of Schweinfurt.
In her speech, Carolin Trips focused on the good cooperative and profitable partnership with FIS. Trips GmbH and FIS not only share the status of an owner-managed and family-owned company as well as their locations in direct neighborhood but also joint projects such as the Meet&Eat staff restaurant and the trustful interaction between two strong medium-sized companies.
In his welcoming address, Christian Keller described the development of FIS at the location in Grafenrheinfeld. For many years, the municipality has above all accompanied the visible spatial expansion of FIS as a proud partner. He praised the current building project: in the eleventh FIS building section, more than 130 new work centers, a training academy and a training center are being created.
After the welcome messages, all guests were looking forward to varied catering services and talks with colleagues after the long break due to the Corona pandemic.
The DDC breakdance group drew the attention of all guests back to the official program on the stage of Vogel Convention Center Würzburg. With two spectacular, fast-paced and absolutely highly artistic show acts, the dancers kept the guests in high spirits.
During such an evening, a look back into the past must of course not be missed. In a panel discussion with host Dirk Denzer, managing director Ralf Bernhardt and Christian Lang looked back on 30 years of company history. FIS not only celebrated its birthday but also five employees having been with the company from the start 30 years ago. At the same time, two of them (former managing directors) officially retired and were bidden farewell by Ralf Bernhardt and Christian Lang.
Under the motto “FIS – A child of the 90s”, all guests could enjoy slot machines, a photo box and the right sound of the Schweinfurt band Living Contrasts and DJ Seimen Fresh.
The management board and the organization team are looking back on an altogether successful event.
