FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH (FIS) celebrates topping-out ceremony of its new company building.

On Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, FIS celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the new company building after a six-month construction phase. The FIS management board invited all those so far involved in the building project to attend this event: from the Schonungen architect’s office Philipp (responsible for planning and construction management), Michael Siebenson GmbH & Co. KG (responsible for earth-moving and shell construction works) and representatives of Stark GmbH (responsible for carpentry work) to other FIS members of the management board and the internal building project team.

At its Grafenrheinfeld headquarters, SAP value-added reseller FIS erects a new company building consisting of one three-story, one two-story and one one-story section over an area of approximately 1,200 square meters. A room space of approximately 2,500 square meters includes about 135 new office work centers, break rooms with outdoor lounge areas, different conference rooms, design thinking rooms and think tanks, a training center with two big training rooms as well as the FIS Academy, the advanced training center for trainees and dual system students.

Christian Lang, management board member, is satisfied with the progress of the project so far: “Despite the tense situation in the construction industry, all works were professionally implemented in good time and at fair conditions. The award of all other trades has been finalized as well so that we can complete the shell construction with roofs, windows and facades before the winter. The anticipated completion date in our anniversary year 2022 is currently not jeopardized.”
