For many years, children of Franziskus-Schule, a support center for mental development, have participated in the run for primary school pupils. In 2023, the organizers introduced a Special Olympics classification for this run and the MainCitryTriathlon run. Ever since, two inclusive relays of Franziskus-Schule have participated in the run. Mr. Lindt, deputy head of Franziskus-Schule, invited athletes from the FIS team to join the FSS relays in 2025. He emphasized that the closed cycling course is the ideal basis for the athletes to participate. He also shared information on the dates for MainCityRun (May 31, 2025) and MainCityTriathlon (June 01, 2025) being planned by TG48.
The donation will be used to organize running shirts for the pupils of Franziskus-Schule participating in next year’s run and we wonder if “sponsored by FIS” will also be printed on the jerseys.
