As a consulting company, biX Consulting GmbH & Co. KG implements Business Intelligence projects for large corporate groups and strong medium-sized enterprises. The SAP solution has replaced the previous cloud-based CRM system so that important customer data can now be managed efficiently in the Sales Cloud solution.
FIS was the implementation partner for the CRM project at biX Consulting and integrated 150 biX address data as well as leads and opportunities from the previous system into SAP Sales Cloud. The system was implemented and made executable within only a few working days: a good example of how quickly SAP Sales Cloud will be ready for use within the standard system.
The consulting company uses the system for managing address data, leads and opportunities. The cloud-based CRM system at biX Consulting is not connected to the SAP ERP system. However, it is possible to optionally add further categories, such as products, partners and competitors. The maintenance of competitors has already been started. Consequently, the users are enabled to monitor their competitors and opportunities in the future. They can precisely analyze which projects were lost to competitors, which were won, what were the reasons for this and what conclusions can be made for the next situation.
Another SAP Sales Cloud benefit: It already includes many modules, such as campaign planning, that were not part of the previous product and could only be added at extra costs. biX Consulting specifically uses campaign planning for telephone campaigns. The SAP Sales Cloud user interface was judged by the biX Consulting users to be smarter than the one of the predecessor product.
