At FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH (FIS), various measures have already been taken to protect the staff since the COVID-19 pandemic emerged. Now, FIS also enables vaccination against the virus for employees. In cooperation with Mainbogenpraxis based in Sennfeld, 60 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, which was excluded from prioritization, were vaccinated. As in the vaccination centers, a waiting room, vaccination room and rest room have each been set up in the company’s meeting rooms to ensure a smooth and safe procedure. “There was a lot of interest in the workforce for vaccination. There were over one hundred interested parties,” reports Angelika Wolf, Head of Business Administration & Quality Management and organizer of the vaccination campaign. The allocation of vaccine doses was therefore organized by lottery. In addition, other people were nominated as substitutes, who were also asked to bring their vaccination certificates and be ready. “This is to make sure that no dose is left over,” explains Angelika Wolf.
“The vaccination campaign rounds off our extensive operational measures in the fight against the coronavirus and we are pleased to be able to make a vaccination offer to our employees. As soon as more vaccine doses are available, the employees who have been left empty-handed today will also be given the opportunity to be vaccinated,” adds Christian Lang, member of the management board.
