Small and medium-sized companies are the backbone of our Bavarian economy. With their entrepreneurial spirit, these companies assume responsibility and create jobs laying the foundation for the high standard of living in Bavaria. With commitment and creative thinking, small and medium-sized companies successfully guided us, in particular, through the different times of Corona pandemic and energy crisis.
This year again, the Bavarian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy recognizes this performance and honors the 50 fastest-growing Bavarian small and medium-sized companies with the BAYERNS BEST 50 award. The prize is awarded to particularly fast-growing small and medium-sized companies that have been able to increase the number of their employees and sales volume by more than average in the last few years.
On behalf of the Bavarian Ministry for Economic Affairs, the prize winners were chosen by an independent jury consisting of experts from Mazars GmbH & Co. KG (an auditing and consulting company) according to objective criteria. On July 24, 2023, FIS received the coveted award from Roland Weigert, the Bavarian State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, at Schloss Schleißheim (Schleißheim Palace).
“We are particularly proud of having received this prestigious award for the third time after 2009 and 2019. This is a great confirmation of our corporate strategy, for the entire staff and the work performed during the past few years,” says a well-pleased Ralf Bernhardt, managing director of FIS.
