Graduation is drawing near and pupils face the difficult decision how to proceed in terms of their professional future. Start a vocational training, study at a university or rather go travelling for a start? In order to support pupils in their decision, FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH (FIS) presented the FIS Dual Study Program in cooperation with the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in detail during its “Taster Afternoon” on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.
In addition to providing information on the two courses of studies offered – Business Informatics and Business Administration/Service Management, Consulting and Sales, major course “IT Consulting” – and career opportunities after completion of studies, students currently participating in the FIS Dual Study Program reported on their impressions and experiences from their courses of study.
Result: The dual study program is definitely challenging and might also be stressful sometimes, but its advantages are obvious. In addition to a salary paid right from the beginning and the opportunity of gaining professional experience during the course of study, the students participating in the dual study program can be sure of an open-ended employment contract if they perform well.
“We hope that we were able to give interested pupils a good insight into our dual study program and are looking forward to receiving numerous applications,” Stefanie Hartmann, who is in charge of the dual study program, points out.
The application deadline for the FIS Dual Study Program for next year ends on September 15, 2020.
