This year as well, five trainees will start their vocational training at FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH (FIS) on September 1, 2020. Over the next three years, the future IT specialists for application development will be comprehensively prepared for their tasks in software development.
Unfortunately, the traditional training camp, where all FIS trainees and students of the dual study program come together at the beginning of the training year, has to be canceled this year due to the Corona regulations. But we found an alternative: The trainees of the second and third training year developed an FIS quiz. The solutions to the questions are hidden within the different FIS departments, where they must be requested from the colleagues.
During their training, the trainees rotate through all FIS departments and especially get to know the various development areas. In addition to technical training courses, the training concept also includes soft skills training courses, such as the moderation and presentation workshop. In order to prepare the trainees for their everyday working life, health courses will also be offered in cooperation with AOK Bayern from this year on. In various workshops and seminars, trainees receive valuable information about nutrition, exercise and stress reduction. With this training concept, nothing can stop them from a successful career start.
