For the third time, the kununu employer evaluation platform and Industrieverband Büro und Arbeitswelt e.V. (Interior Business Association) were looking for the best office workplaces in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH (FIS) secured first place in the “Large Companies” category.
In a changing working world where aspects such as agile and independent work are becoming more and more important, the office gets a new meaning. In addition to the functional office design, the atmosphere also plays an important role in an attractive workplace concept.
“It is important to us that our offices are a place where our employees enjoy arriving every morning, that this place is ergonomically perfectly adapted to them and that they are optimally supported in their productive and creative work,” comments Christian Lang, member of the management board. The original plan at FIS in 2017 was to replace all desks with electrically height-adjustable models, but this quickly developed into a comprehensive modernization of the older buildings on the company campus. In addition to workstations and meeting rooms, a strong focus was also placed on modern staff rooms and staff kitchens.
“We are very happy about the award as it shows how important this topic is for FIS,” explains Christian Lang. For the newest building, whose construction work will start in the course of 2021, FIS once again relies on high-quality and modern equipment.
