In October 2019, the automatic renewal of the FIS certification was announced. The certificate confirms that the current SAP standards are met and that the “Customer Expert Services” team at FIS excellently supports the SAP customers. The usual audit as part of the SAP Partner Center of Expertise certification was therefore no longer necessary.
This extension is an absolute novelty for SAP partners. In 2019, the important certificate was automatically awarded for the first time – based on the results of the quality measurement report (QMR). As a consequence, FIS is one of the first SAP partners to be automatically rewarded for constantly guaranteeing the increasing SAP standards.
“We are very proud of this early certification. This is a great award for the outstanding achievements of my team and the responsible colleagues of other departments. We are aware of the associated responsibility towards our customers and SAP to continue to ensure a permanently high quality of our work,” says Joachim Wittek, head of the Customer Expert Services team at FIS.
Numerous internal projects laid the foundation for the recertification of FIS, such as the conception and implementation of a support process based on the ITIL quality standard or the update of the SAP Backbone at the support customers. In addition, FIS was able to continuously increase the resolution rate for problem reports of SAP customers and, as a consequence, repeatedly conclude the QMR report positively.
FIS has been a certified Partner Center of Expertise since 2011 already. The new certificate will be valid until April 30, 2022. At this point at the latest, a new recertification and, if necessary, an audit will take place.
