At its Grafenrheinfeld headquarters, SAP value-added reseller FIS erects a new company building consisting of one three-story, one two-story and one one-story section over an area of approximately 1,200 square meters. A room space of approximately 2,500 square meters includes about 135 new office work centers, break rooms with outdoor lounge areas, different conference rooms, design thinking rooms and think tanks, a training center with two big training rooms as well as the FIS Academy, the advanced training center for trainees and dual system students.”Our new building in Grafenrheinfeld is a commitment of FIS and the FIS Group to this region,” explains Ralf Bernhardt, managing director of FIS.
The construction phase of the eleventh building section (BS11) starts with the official groundbreaking ceremony on March 09, 2021. Under the construction management of Schonungen-based architectural office Philipp and in cooperation with structural engineering company Michael Siebenson GmbH & Co. KG, the new building is to be erected on the FIS campus by the end of 2022.
“With this new building, we invest in a very attractive and advanced working environment for our current and future colleagues. In particular, we will be further intensifying the issue of training and education in the FIS Academy. Despite the increasing number of virtual meetings, our buildings remain the central place for us to live our corporate culture, which is an integral part of our success,” says Christian Lang, management board member.
