With the new company building, FIS created more than 160 new workplaces, all fully air-conditioned and equipped with height-adjustable desks, a training center, eleven meeting, creative and retreat rooms, various social and break rooms, as well as the FIS Academy – the new, modern training center for all apprentices, students and trainees. The new building is rounded off by a high-quality outdoor lounge area.
Christian Lang, FIS management board member, thanked all the representatives of the architectural office and the companies involved in the construction who were present, as well as the internal colleagues for their commitment and the cooperative partnership. It is particularly noteworthy that despite difficult conditions due to the Corona pandemic, raw material shortages and rising costs, the planned construction time of 21 months was met. District administrator Florian Töpper congratulated the largest IT employer in Main-Franconia on the new company building and praised the investment in the economic region of Lower Franconia. Mayor Christian Keller looked back on the development of FIS in “his” municipality of Grafenrheinfeld and highlighted the successful growth, which is also visible in the constant expansion of the company headquarters. Deacon Thomas Weiss then consecrated the building before all those present were able to convince themselves of the high quality of the new building during a tour of the premises.
