At FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH (FIS), eight new trainees started their vocational training as IT specialists for application development (m/f/d) and four dual system students started their studies in the fields of business informatics and business administration at the beginning of September. During the first days, getting to know the team of instructors as well as different training courses and instructions were part of the program. The highlight for many, however, was the training event on the last day of the first week.
At the event, all FIS trainees and dual system students met to build soapboxes together and subsequently master a course with obstacles. Divided into three groups and supplemented by a team of training supervisors, the challenge started. Each team had to properly assemble and design the soapbox kit and come up with a suitable team name. In the presence of the management board and other colleagues, the teams had to complete a challenging course and small intermediate tasks.
“Community spirit is one of our corporate values. It is therefore particularly important to us that the new trainees and dual system students get to know each other and the trainees from the other years. That is why we always organize various events during the training,” reports Tobias Schulz-Klante from the HR team at FIS.
