Since 1895 already, the DAW group of companies has developed innovative coating systems and is today (in fifth generation) the third largest manufacturer of construction paints in Europe. The roof of the family-owned company unites numerous strong brands for coating materials, thermal insulations and building protection. With its CAPAROL ICONS product, an innovative luxury wall paint with the highest demands in terms of quality and environmental friendliness, the company launched a B2C online shop for the first time in its corporate history in cooperation with the FIS Group.
Together with the customer, the B2C shop was developed in various workshops and strategy meetings and implemented by FIS and Medienwerft professionals. The existing Web page was supplemented by E-commerce features and relaunched.
In the course of customer acquisition and in order to increase the awareness of end consumers, the CAPAROL ICONS Web shop directly focused on SAP Commerce Cloud to meet the current “shopping experience” requirements of customers and consumers during digitization and already with a view to the future. In addition, FIS provided the integration into the ERP system for automated order confirmations.
