The organizers of FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH and FIS-ASP Application Service Providing und IT-Outsourcing GmbH had put together a diverse program for this event. In various themed rooms, visitors learned more about the educational offerings of the FIS Group. There was an in-house trade show, a room focusing on past trainee projects where visitors could play smart table soccer or SAP-based Tetris, or a room for job application tips. Besides informative lectures on dual studies and vocational training, tours of the FIS Academy were also offered.
The event focused on how to make IT an experience. The pupils had the chance to gain initial live coding experiences or use AI practically.
In a pleasant atmosphere, visitors were able to get in touch with current trainees and students and get answers to their questions about training and study opportunities at the FIS Group. The physical well-being was also taken care of with hot dogs, beverages and a coffee and cake bar organized on a donation basis.
FIS and FIS-ASP rounded the amount collected up to EUR 500.00 and donated it to the Förderverein Freundeskreis der Heinrich-Thein-Schule Haßfurt e.V. (Booster Club Circle of Friends of Heinrich-Thein-Schule Haßfurt). The circle of friends supports the well-being of pupils and teachers of the vocational school our trainees go to as well and finances acquisitions or further trainings. It also organizes a vocational training fair which takes place regularly.
For the entire team of the FIS Group, the vocational training day was a complete success. The high level of response from the visitors highlighted the enormous interest in the training opportunities and future prospects offered by our company. A big thank you therefore goes to all participants who made the day a special event.
We are looking forward to the next Vocational Training Day with new ideas and innovations.
