On the agenda: a multifaceted program with various contents
A business lunch opened the first day of the event – the perfect possibility for cordial greetings and networking among like-minded people. After the lunch, presenter Sandra Cararo and Ralf Bernhardt, managing director of FIS, welcomed the guests on the main stage. As starting signal of the two-day event under the motto “Highway to Change- on the way to becoming a smart enterprise”, the new FIS logo was unveiled with applause from those present.
Next, Magnus Meier of SAP started the content-related part of the program by giving a keynote lecture on “Changing wholesale – digitization with purpose and mind”. After the keynote, the participants chose to attend one of three series of lectures concerning “Your roadmap for SAP S/4HANA”, “The fine tuning for your processes” and “Focusing your customers”. Varied formats provided professionals and users with strategic tips and operational insights concerning digitization projects. Classical lectures were complemented by keynotes, customer reports, expert talks, podium discussions and Pecha Kucha sessions. “Our two-day agenda is packed with a variety of topics. Our customers will find their specific topics and attend various formats related to these topics,” explains Ralf Bernhardt, chairman of the FIS management board.
30 years of FIS: a reason to celebrate
On the evening of the first event day, the FIS executive board presented one of the highlights of the event. With finest weather and mild temperatures, FIS celebrated its 30th anniversary together with its customers. After a light show and insights into the FIS history, a BBQ in a Wild West style was waiting for the guests in the exterior area of VCC. The evening focused on networking accompanied by a framework program including Western games, such as bull riding, lassoing and can shooting, and a mobile band. “Due to the pandemic, we had to plan the FIS insITe event several times. I’m very happy that it has worked out now after the third attempt. We provide our participants with a great deal of knowledge within two days. However, fun must not be forgotten. In the end, it is human encounters that make the event something special,” explains Dirk Schneider, managing director at FIS. The relaxed and good atmosphere perfectly rounded off the festivities.
FIS insITe 2022: live event with overall positive feedback
Prof. Dr. Karsten Kilian started the second day of the event by giving a keynote lecture on “Digitization is important – purpose is more important”. After the Pecha Kucha sessions, the participants met for a business lunch and looked back on the impressions gained on the last day. In the afternoon, the guests listened with great interest to the expert talk on artificial intelligence. In his final keynote lecture on “Leadership ability in times of change”, Alexander Groth gave them many impulses for a successful future to take home.
FIS looks back on an entirely successful event and is happy about the positive feedback of numerous customers and partners. “Looking around here at FIS insITe, it makes me very proud to see our successful customers we have supported for a long time. The participants were very inquisitive and sought direct contact with each other, which represents the community spirit of FIS,” says Ralf Bernhardt. We at FIS are looking forward to future events where we can continue the interesting conversations of the last few days.
