Due to the fact that e-invoicing has become a statutory requirement in Italy, globally operating HERMLE AG was forced to act and adjust its accounting system to the new stipulations. The challenge was to consider not only Hermle’s own requirements, but also the statutory requirements of the authorities.   

By using FIS/eInvoicing, invoices are created automatically and sent to the corresponding authority. Manual work steps are eliminated and staff workload is reduced and unnecessary correction loops avoided as impermissible information is reported even before it is transmitted. With this solution, Hermle AG is well prepared for the future, because also other countries are planning to make e-invoicing a statutory requirement in the foreseeable future.
